While being very bored at my night shifts for a call center, I had the freedom to do my own things. Among those things i did, was playing with removing loops from songs.

you could consider this song a remix of the track "Young Birds" by Dj Weirdo, and the original version of Elle Maraine could be interpreted that way as I even used the vocal sample (though I completely beatsynced it), the "Happy Remix" version, however, is harder to classify as such, true there are still a couple of very prominent loops from "Young Birds" but there are a lot of other very dominant sounds from completely unrelated sources.

For your information, the actual vocal sample "Elle Maraine, Count to four, Elle Maraine, Then three more, Elle Maraine, If you can see, Elle Maraine, You'll come with me" comes from Deep Space Nine. The Sample has been given a once over to rid it of the annoying bleeps and bloops Star Trek is famous for. And of course its beatsynced, cuz a 8 year old actress hopping and skipping around the set, doesn't make for a very quantized song.
