This is my Midibox Orb. its made from an metal ikea saladbowl. it has 8 potmeters, 4 on off buttons, one on off on button and 8 leds. I spraypainted the bowl metallic blue. and for the bottom I used  12mm MDPE from pig troughs. dont worry i cleaned it off first.. its the same material that was on my Robotwars robot Amok.

planning and design took a bit of time but actual build time was about a week.

The Orb will be hooked up to MAX/MSP and will control, together with a couple of other midibox projects, a generative soft synth setup, but can also be used for a more traditional setup. for example using it to control VST FX.
